Umbrella Liability

A personal umbrella liability policy, sometimes called a PUP or a PUL, is a policy that increases the liability limits of the underlying policies, usually the home and autos. This is a way to purchase limits more than what your auto policy or home policy can offer. Umbrella policies are typically in the range of 1-5 million but can go as high as needed for an appropriate premium.
