Chris Leitch and I just recently traveled to Lansing Michigan for a CIC institute on Life and Health - two topics that are very important to the both of us! A side benefit of the trip was that we got to visit Auto-Owners Insurance HomeOffice! It was pretty cool to see this established carrier's headquarters. It reminded me of back when I was a kid visiting the Nationwide HomeOffice with my mom in Columbus Ohio.
Just like Nationwide, Auto-owners is big part of it's home community. The just recently built a huge new HomeOffice across the freeway from the old HomeOffice that has a beautiful hotel right on campus.
That trip was a win-win for us both and to top it off, we both passed the exam and are one step close to our CIC designations!
