Mold

Mold is a superficial often woolly growth produced especially on damp or decaying organic matter or on living organisms by a fungus. Mold only needs two basic ingredients to flourish, which is moisture and a favorable temperature. Most molds can't grow below 40° F, but they grow best at 77°-86° F, especially in humid conditions. Different types of mold have different minimum and maximum temperature ranges for growth. For example, some molds can grow at temperatures close to freezing, while others can grow in temperatures between 60-80° F
